MOM'S POTATO CANDY
1 medium potato 
1 tsp. vanilla
10x sugar
Boil potato with skin on.  While hot, peel potato and mash with fork. 
Add vanilla and 10x sugar.  Mix.  Continue adding sugar until dough 
forms (mixing with hands). Roll out some into small balls and dust
with cinnamon. Leave out to dry for a couple days before storing in
tin. VARIATION:To make pinwheels, roll out dough like pie crust. 
Spread with peanut butter, roll up and cut in slices.  Let dry. Or roll
into balls and press walnut halves or maraschino cherries in top. 
Always leave out to dry before storing in tin.

ROCKY ROAD SQUARES
Simple to make and kids love them!

1 12-oz. pkg. Chocolate morsels
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
2 Tablespoons Margarine
2 cups dry roasted peanuts
1 10 1/2 oz. pkg. minature Marshmallows

Melt Morsels, Eagle Brand milk and margarine.
Combine peanuts and marshallows in lg. bowl.
Pour chocolate mixture on top of peanut/marshallow mixture.
Spread on wax paper. Break into pieces when cool.
Store in air-tight container.
*You can use colored minature marshall in place of the
white marshallows. 

OH HENRY BARS

1 Cup sugar
1 Cup Karo Syrup (light or dark)
Cook until it starts to bubble 

Stir into mixture 1 1/3 plain 
peanut butter and
6 Cups of Special K Cereal 

Butter 9x13 pan & spread arm
mixture evenly, press down. 

Melt over double boiler separately)
1 package butterscotch chips
1 package chocolate chips 

Spread over mixture and
refrigerate 20 to 30 minutes.
Cut into squares.
