ROBERT REDFORD SQUARES
These are also known as Heaven in a Pan or Ecstasy in a pan;
INGREDIENTS
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
8 0z.Philadelphia cream cheese
1 cup icing sugar
2 small tubs Cool Whip
1 instant chocolate pudding
1 instant vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
1 milk chocolate bar
Method
Combine pecans,flour and butter and press
into a 9x13"pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Combine cream cheese with icing sugar
and spread on cool base.
Cover above with 1 tub Cool Whip. Beat
until thick chocolate pudding and vanilla pudding with milk.
Spread on above. Then spread the 2nd.
tub of Cool Whip on above.
Sprinkle with the shaved chocolate
bar. Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
This dessert is great for special occasions!

CRUNCH
6 MEDIUM APPLES,
2 TEAS CINNAMON,
2/3 CUPS FLOUR,
1 CUP ROLLED
OATS,
1/2 CUP BROWN
SUGAR,
1/3 CUP MARGARINE,
PEEL
APPLES AND SLICE THIN, PLACE APPLES IN A BAKING DISH.(IF APPLES ARE TART,SPRINKLE
A LITTLE SUGAR OVER THEM BEFORE ADDING THE TOPPING.) MIX CINNAMON WITH
FLOUR. THOROUGHLY COMBINE FLOUR,OATS,SUGAR AND MARGARINE TO MAKE A CRUMB
MIXTURE.SPRINKLE THE CRUMB MIXTURE OVER THE APPLES AND PRESS DOWN LIKE
A CRUST.
BAKE 35 TO 40
MINUTES AT 350 DEGREES.
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.

Pumpkin
Roll
This
is a delicious dessert! It makes an excellent homemade gift when wrapped
in festive holiday paper.
3 fresh
eggs
1 C. granulated
sugar
2/3 C. canned
pumpkin
1 C. cake flour
1 tsp. baking
soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 C. walnut pieces
(optional)
powdered sugar
*cream cheese
filling (see below)
1 1/2 /c. powdered
sugar
1 8 oz. package
cream cheese, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 C. butter
*cream cheese filling--beat
powdered sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and butter on medium speed until
smooth.
Heat oven to
375 degrees. Line a 15" x 10" x 1" jelly roll pan with aluminum foil; grease
generously. In a large bowl beat eggs on high speed for five minutes or
until very thick and lemon colored. Gradually beat in granulated sugar
and pumpkin. Gradualy add flour, baking soda and cinnamon, beating just
until batter is smooth. Pour evenly into pan. Sprinkle with walnut pieces.
Bake 15 minutes.
Immediately loosen
edges from pan: invert onto clean towel generously sprinkled with powered
sugar. Carefully remove foil. While hot, roll cake and towel from narrow
end. Cool on wire rack. Unroll: spread with cream cheese filling. Roll
up; wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 2 hours. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Slice and serve! 10-12 servings. Enjoy!

Layer Chocolate Delight

1st layer
1 1/2 sticks
margaring(room temp)
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cup chopped
pecans
mix well and
press into bottom of 12x9 dish
Bake 15 minutes
at 350. Let cool
2nd layer
8 oz cream cheese
(room temp)
1 cup powdered
sugar
1 cup cool whip
blend together
and spread on first layer
3rd layer
2 small pkgs
chocolate instant pudding
3 1/2 cup milk
mix together
and spread on other layers
4th layer
cover with cool
whip

COFFEE
ORANGE FUDGE CAKE
1 18½-ounce
German chocolate
cake mix
1 8-ounce container
sour cream
½ cup
vegetable oil,
½ cup
water
4 eggs
1 4-ounce instant
chocolate fudge
pudding mix
¼ cup
coffee liqueur OR 1/4 cup coffee
2 tablespoons
grated orange rind
1 teaspoon ground
cinnamon
2 cups semi-sweet
chocolate morsels
Confectioners’
sugar
Preheat oven to
350°F. Spray a 10-inch Bundt pan with non-stick vegetable spray.
In a large mixing
bowl, combine cake mix, sour cream, oil, water, eggs, pudding mix, coffee
liqueur, orange rind, and
cinnamon; beat
until well blended and smooth. Stir in chocolate morsels. Pour into prepared
Bundt pan.
Bake 50 to 60
minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool
in pan for 20 minutes. Remove
from pan; cool
completely on a wire rack. Dust with confectioners’ sugar.
(Yield: 12 servings)
*If you love
the "Chocolate Orange Balls" candy you break apart apart into slices like
an orange you will love this cake.
