Part 1

Kasumi has a dream about her and Yoshiki when they were little. Kasumi is crying outside, beneath the house, and Yoshiki comes out to comfort her. Kasumi tells him that she got in trouble by her dad because she made scratch marks on the post with a knife. Yoshiki tells Kasumi that he doesn't like dad for making Kasumi cry, so he got a knife too. Kasumi tells Yoshiki that he'll get in trouble too, but Yoshiki tells her that it will be alright and buries the knife in the ground telling Kasumi that it's a secret between him and her. Yoshiki tells Kasumi that he is sorry and that's when Kasumi wakes up to her alarm clock going off. Kasumi wonders if it was just a dream or something that happened in the past for real. She also wonders what Yoshiki meant by "sorry".

It's been a week since Yoshiki's left the apartment and Kasumi does not know where he is staying at.

At Yoshiki's new apartment, Kyoko wakes up Yoshiki for school. She pouts a little about Yoshiki changing schools all of sudden because of his sister and tells him that if this was for any other woman, she wouldn't forgive him. Yoshiki doesn't say anything.

At school, a bunch of girls come up to Kasumi asking her about her new little brother, Yoshiki, and wants her to introduce him to her. Kasumi tells them that he has a girlfriend and the girls are disappointed. Just then, Yoshiki walks up and Kasumi asks where he's living at now. Yoshiki tells her that it doesn't matter to her and walks away. Kasumi is deeply hurt and wonders what Yoshiki meant by "You're important to me, so I can't live with you".

Later on, Kazuki talks to Yoshiki and Yoshiki figures out that Kazuki is talking to him because Kasumi asked him to. Kazuki tells him that he's right and tells him that he envies Yoshiki because Kasumi cares for him unconditionally. As Kazuki walks away, Yoshiki says to himself that he's envious of Kazuki because he's not related to Kasumi. Yoshiki has a flashback of Kasumi.

At night, Kasumi gets a phone call from her mom. Her mom tells her that the old house that Yoshiki and their father lived in is being sold, so she just wanted to let Yoshiki know just in case there was some memories there for him. Kasumi remembers her dream and asks her mom if anything like that happened before. Her mom can't remember anything and Kasumi confirms that it was just a dream after all.

Kasumi calls Yoshiki's cell phone and is very nervous while his phone is rining. Kyoko finally picks up the phone and Kasumi just hangs up. She can't believe herself that she actually did that. She gets a little envious of Kyoko for being so close to him and Kasumi wants something that ties her and Yoshiki as well.

At Yoshiki's apartment, Kyoko asks Yoshiki how his sister is and that she wants to sit down and talk to her one day. Yoshiki tells Kyoko that he hasn't told his sister about his new apartment. Kyoko is suprised and asks why. Yoshiki ignores the question and has a flashback of himself when he was a child telling Kasumi that he's sorry and mumbles to himself that he wishes he were bigger. Kyoko doesn't understand and asks him what he means by that. Yoshiki tells her that it's nothing and that he was just talking to himself.

The next day, Kasumi goes by the old house that Yoshiki and their father used to live in. She used to live in it when she was little too, but she can't remember much. She looks at some markings on a post and assumes that their markings for comparing heights...but then she sees that the markings go pretty low and the post and realizes that it's not marks for comparing heights. She has a flashback of her dream and figures that her dream wasn't a dream at all!

She goes in the yard and digs the ground, looking for the knife that Yoshiki buried. She is so desperate to find something that ties her and Yoshiki together. As she is digging, some boys are playing baseball outside and the ball hits the window near Kasumi and it shatters.

Kazuki is at the hospital and calls Yoshiki over. He tells Yoshiki that Kasumi was under shattered glass and that he's at the hospital. Yoshiki frantically runs through the hospital as the nurses tell him to slow down. He reaches Kasumi's room and she is completely fine...only has one bandaid on her finger.  Kazuki apologizes and says that he misunderstood the whole situation. Kasumi wonders if Yoshiki is mad, but Yoshiki hugs her. Kasumi is suprised and Yoshiki tells her that he doesn't need any memento except for her. The nurses look at the two hugging and comment on how well they get along. Kazuki looks at them in terror. Kasumi's dream/past continues with why Yoshiki was sorry. He says, "If I was bigger, I could've protected you and you wouldn't have to cry. I will hurry up and be an adult, so I can be near you."

Kazuki takes Kasumi home and she offers him something to drink. Kazuki is about to ask Kasumi about her and Yoshiki when the phone rings. The answering machine goes on and it's Yoshiki. Kasumi tries to answer it, but Kazuki stops her by kissing her. Kasumi tries to get away from his grip, but realizes that Kazuki is serious and using all his might. Kazuki reminds Kasumi that she and Yoshiki are sister and brother. On the answering machine, Yoshiki is about to say something important to her, but stops. Kasumi screams and tries to resist.

Part 2

Yoshiki is on the answering machine still trying to tell Kasumi something. He stops himself and tells her that he'll call again later. Meanwhile, Kasumi is pinned to the floor by Kazuki trying to resist him. Then Kasumi stops resisting and grabs Kazuki. She tells him that if he can't mess her up right now, then to move. She says to not be nice to her. Kazuki asks if she wants to go to the bed, but Kasumi replies that she wants to remain on the floor because she'll feel like Kazuki is doing a horrible thing to her. As her and Kazuki are making love, Kasumi fantasizes about making love to Yoshiki and tells herself what a horrible person she is. After they are done, Kazuki tells her that he is not going to apologize because he's always loved her. Kazuki touches her, says "good nigh" and leaves. Kasumi talks to herself saying that she told Kazuki not to be nice to her.

After Kasumi gets out of the shower, she plays the message that Yoshiki left and hugs herself. She longes for Yoshiki to be near her.

The next day, Kyoko stops by Kasumi's place and gives her Yoshiki's new address. Kyoko comments on how Yoshiki has changed and doesn't know what he's thinking lately. She also confesses that she's a bit jealous of Kasumi because Yoshiki even changed colleges for her. Kasumi's heart thumps and she tells Kyoko that it's probably just an obligation and that she has nothing to worry about. Kyoko apologizes and tells her that she really loves Kasumi and that she even feels like she has a sister now too. As Kyoko is leaving, Kasumi gets a whiff of Kyoko's perfume and asks what it is. Kyoko tells her that it's a perfume called Spellbound.

Kazuki gets some free tickets to some cottages and asks Kasumi if she wants to go. Their friends overhear this and invite themselves as well. They end up inviting Yoshiki too.

The group arrive at the cottages and decide on who stays in which cottage. They decide on all the girls stay in one cottage, all the boys stay in the other cottage, and the siblings, Kasumi and Yoshiki, stay in the cottage with 2 beds. Kasumi notices Kazuki pouting and walking off. She is about to slip and Yoshiki grabs a hold of her. He puts his hand over her mouth and tells her to be quiet so Kazuki won't notice them. Yoshiki holds on to Kasumi as her heart is racing. Kasumi tells Yoshiki to let her go now since Kazuki is gone, but Yoshiki still holds on to her. Then he jokes around and asks if she got fat. Kasumi gets mad and the group finds Kasumi and Yoshiki.

Later on that night, Kasumi wakes up and sees that Yoshiki is not in his bed. She goes outside to look for him.

Yoshiki is standing outside by himself thinking about the image of Kasumi sleeping. Someone comes up behind Yoshiki and puts their hands over his eyes. Yoshiki thinks that it's Kasumi, but to his suprise, it's Kyoko. She tells him that she followed him and asks him to come to the nearby hotel she is staying at.

Kasumi goes over to Kazuki's cottage and asks him if he has seen Yoshiki. Kazuki gets mad and tells her that Yoshiki's not a kid. Kasumi turns around tells Kazuki that she's going to continue looking for him. Kazuki hugs her from behind and tells her to open her eyes. He says that she's confused and is hallucinating that Yoshiki is not her brother, but a man. Kasumi tells him that she thinks Kazuki's hallucinating because she is not the person he thinks she is. Kasumi runs off.

Yoshiki gets out of Kyoko's bed and starts to change. Kyoko asks why he's not staying and Yoshiki tells her that he needs to go back because his sister is probably worried. Kyoko gets upset and asks who's more important. Yoshiki doesn't say anything and leaves.

Yoshiki goes back to the cottage and sees that Kasumi is awake. Kasumi tells him that she was worried about him and asks where he was. He tells her that he couldn't sleep, so he went for a walk. Then Kasumi smells the scent of Spellbound and realizes that Yoshiki was with Kyoko. Kasumi gets angry and tells him that he shouldn't have even came if he and Kyoko are going to be sneaking around. Yoshiki tells her that he didn't even know that Kyoko was nearby and that the reason why he was outside walking was because he didn't want to be in the room. Kasumi gets even more upset, but Yoshiki hugs her and tells her that she should know best why he can't be comfortable sleeping in the same room as her. Kasumi asks Yoshiki to call her by her name. She tells him that she envies Kyoko and Yoshiki's friends because he calls them by their names. She begs him to call her by her name just one time and she'll forget it. Yoshiki says her name and tells her to forget it right away. Kasumi gets scared, but Yoshiki continues to say that if she doesn't forget it, he won't be able to call her by her name anymore. Yoshiki calls Kasumi by her name over and over as Kasumi cries. Kazuki is by Yoshiki and Kasumi's cottage listening to all this and cringes.

Part 3

Kasumi is up early making some breakfast. Yoshiki left early that morning to be with Kyoko. Kasumi's friend tells her that Kazuki came by last night to check up on her and asks if she saw him. Kasumi gets nervous and wonders if Kazuki possibly saw her and Yoshiki together. She goes to wake up Kazuki, but Kazuki acts like his normal self, so she is relieved.

Kyoko tells Yoshiki that her father invited him on an archeaology research trip to Saga for a month that him and his students are going on. Yoshiki is excited and tells her that he's definitely going. Kyoko sarcastically tells him that it's for a month and that she's going too. Yoshiki is puzzled and tries to stop Kyoko from babbling, but Kyoko goes on to say that he'll be away from his sister for awhile, but her father was going to make him go even if he had something to do. Yoshiki yells her name one last time and tells her to calm down. Kyoko snaps out of it and stops. She apologizes and tells him that she's just been scared lately because she doesn't know what Yoshiki is thinking anymore ever since he found out he had a sister. Yoshiki admits that he can't leave his sister alone, but comforts by saying that he just doesn't know what to do because he found out all of a sudden. He changes the subject and suggests on eating something. Kyoko mumbles to herself saying she can become a bad woman if someone tries to take Yoshiki away from her.

At school, another day, Kasumi tries to reach for a piece of paper on the bulletin board, but can't reach. Yoshiki helps her out and gets it for her. Kasumi thanks him and asks him why he's at the student affairs office. He tells her that he needs to request a leave of abscense for a month for his archaeology research trip. Kasumi's heart thumps at the thought of not being able to see Yoshiki for that long and wonders if Kyoko is going with them. Kasumi asks Yoshiki what he was going to say on the answering machine the other night. Yoshiki is about to tell her, but Kazuki comes and interrupts. Yoshiki begins to leave and tells Kasumi that whatever she thought he was going to say, that's the right answer. Kasumi thinks about wanting to be close to him.

The day comes for Yoshiki to take off to Saga. Kasumi goes to the station to look for Yoshiki. She just wants to see him for a little bit before he leaves. Yoshiki's friends find her first and tells Yoshiki that his sister is here. Yoshiki tells his friends to let his sister go and tells Kasumi that it's a bother that she came by to see him off. Kasumi apologizes and walks away. She starts to cry because in the back of her mind she thought Yoshiki would actually be happy that she came by to see him off.

On the train, Yoshiki's friend comments that Kasumi is really cute and that he wants to comfort her the next time Yoshiki is mean to her. Yoshiki, with a serious face, tells him that he'll kill him and that he's not joking.

At a bar, Kazuki is drinking with his friend and is drunk. Kazuki asks his friend what he would do if he's doing it with a girl and she's thinking about some other guy? His friend replies that if it was his girlfriend, he'd definitely break-up with her because in the end, it's all about the pride.

In Saga, Kyoko notices a pretty plant called Kasumisou. She asks Yoshiki if he wants to buy it and decorate it in his room. Yoshiki, thinking of Kasumi, tells Kyoko that he doesn't want it because he doesn't want anybody to see or touch it. He'd probably take care of it too much that it would dry up quickly. Yoshiki has a flashback of Kasumi leaving the station.

Kazuki calls Kasumi and asks her to go out with him somewhere. Kasumi tells him that she's not feeling up to it. Kazuki suggests that he go over there to comfort her since she's feeling so down. Kasumi thanks him for his kindness, but tells him it's okay. She also tells him to forget about what happened between them that one night because, as she said before, she's done some horrible things that Kazuki doesn't know about. Kazuki tells her that he knows all about Yoshiki and that he saw the two of them in the cottage. Kasumi's heart thumps and stumbles for words. Kazuki tells her that he knows she's a horrible person, but he cannot love anyone else besides her and hangs up. As Kazuki walks out of the phone booth, he tells himself that he'll throw away all his pride for Kasumi.

Kasumi goes outside and looks below. She sees someone and is suprised to see Yoshiki. Yoshiki mouths, "I wanted to see you". Kasumi tells him that she wanted to see him too. Yoshiki tells her that he's sorry for saying such mean things to her at the station and that he was really happy that she came. Kasumi tells him that it's okay because she's happy that he came to see her all the way from Saga. They are about to touch each other when Kazuki interrupts.

Part 4

Kazuki asks Yoshiki why he isn't in Saga and Yoshiki tells him that it's none of his business. Kazuki gets mad and reminds them that Yoshiki and Kasumi are blood-related brother and sister. Kasumi plays it off by saying that Yoshiki just came by because he forgot something. Yoshiki goes back to his apartment. Kasumi starts to call out his name, but Yoshiki tells her that it's alright because he accomplished his purpose. Kasumi invites Kazuki up for some tea and as soon as they get into Kasumi's apartment, Kazuki forces a kiss on her. Kasumi tells him to stop, but Kazuki keeps on touching her and asks her why she invited him up here if she knows that he loves her. Kazuki stops and tells her that he won't give up his feelings for her because what she's doing is wrong. Kazuki leaves and Kasumi slides down to the floor. She knows that it's wrong, but she can't help her feelings.

The phone rings and Kasumi goes to answer it. It's Kyoko and she asks Kasumi if she knows where Yoshiki is at. Kasumi lies and tells her that she doesn't know. Kasumi realizes that she's jealous and didn't want Kyoko to know where Yoshiki was. On the other end, Kyoko knows that Kasumi lied and wonders why.

The next day, Yoshiki is about to go back to Saga and Kasumi goes to see him off. As they are walking into a store, the workers suprise them by saying that they're the millionth couple to enter and that the entrance fee and meals are free for them. Kasumi is about to tell them that they are not a couple, but Yoshiki interjects and tells them that they are a couple. Kasumi is suprised, but happy.

Kasumi and Yoshiki ride on the tea cup ride and Kasumi gets dizzy. They sit down on the bench and Yoshiki makes her head lay on his lap. Kasumi gets embarassed and tells him that she doesn't have to go that far, but Yoshiki tells her that they have to do couple-like things sometimes because they will suspect. They start arguing about Kasumi being heavy and how Kasumi can't drink anything unless she has a straw because her head is too heavy to raise. Yoshiki gives Kasumi the drink mouth to mouth.

It starts to get late and Kasumi and Yoshiki are on their last ride together before Yoshiki has to go back to Saga. They talk about how fun everything was, but Kasumi starts to cry all of a sudden. The ride stops and she runs out to the bathroom. When she gets out of the bathroom, she hears a woman screaming to help stop a fight.

Kasumi and Yoshiki end up at the police station because Yoshiki got into a fight. The policemen ask for Yoshiki's guardians to pick him up and Kasumi tells them that she's his older sister and that she'll scold Yoshiki for what he's done. The policemen let them go. When they get out, Yoshiki is annoyed and asks Kasumi why she told them that she was his sister. Kasumi gets mad and tells him to not get into any trouble if he doesn't want that. Kasumi asks him why he got into a fight with a drunk when it's not like Yoshiki at all. Yoshiki gets upset and asks why Kasumi was crying. Kasumi is suprised with Yoshiki's anger and Yoshiki tells her that he cannot do anything for her if she cries. If he were Kazuki, he would hold her and never let her go. Kasumi knows that nothing can be done, but she couldn't help it. Yoshiki continues on asking Kasumi why she came to Rome and why they met each other again as siblings when he couldn't get her out of his head. Yoshiki hugs Kasumi and asks himself why he loves her so much. Kasumi holds on to him and tells Yoshiki that she feels the same way about him as well.
