AKUMA DE SOUROU starts off Kayano and her friends standing behind a building corner waiting for Kayano's love interest, Kamijou-kun. Kayano has decided to confess her love to him once and for all. Kamijou-kun starts to walk towards Kayano and her friends and Kayano's friends tell her to go to him, but she starts trembling with fear. Haru pushes her to go forward and Kayano hands out a letter and confesses her love to him!...but when she opens her eyes, she realizes that it's NOT Kamijou-kun, but some other guy that she doesn't even know! Kayano gets embarassed and runs away.
Kayano later realizes that she had lost her love letter, so she desperately tries to find it with no luck. The next morning, at school, the guy (Takeru) that she had mistankenly confessed her love to approaches her with the love letter that Kayano had lost. Kayano thanks him and proceeds to take the letter from him, but Takeru snatches the letter away and black mails her by telling her to be his servant or else he'll copy her love letter and scatter it around from the rooftop for everyone to see. Kayano is horrified and is left with no choice but to go with his demands.
As a few days/weeks pass by, Kayano notices the good in Takeru and eventually falls in love with him...but this is not an easy guy to get along with! Will Kayano be able to handle him?
